                                    Foaming Hand Soap

8 oz very hot water
1 T Dawn Dish Soap (or whatever you like)

Stir together until completely dissolved.

Pour into empty foaming bottle.

                                  Laundry Soap

1 bar soap grated
1 C Borax
1/2 C Washing Soda
1/2 C Baking Soda

3 pints (6 C) water heated.  Add grated soap and stir til melted.

Add Borax and Sodas, stir til dissolved.

(For concentrated soap....add 3 C hot water, stir well.  This will fit a 39 oz coffee can.  Use  3T per load)

Add 2 quarts hot water and stir well.

Add 6 quarts cold water and stir well.

1/4 C for regular wash
1/2 C for large wash

This will separate so stirring before each use or if in bottles, shake before each use.

                                  Dry Laundry Soap

1 bar of soap grated
1 C Borax
1/2 C Baking Soda
1/2 C Washing Soda

Use 1 or 2 T per load

The finer the soap is grated the easier it will dissolve in the wash.

Be sure to completely mix together the ingredients.

Food processor...use thin shave blade on soap.  Remove the blade and insert chopping blade, add the powders and process 20-30 seconds.

                                Dawn Laundry Soap

1/3 C Washing Soda
1/4 C Borax
1/4 C Baking Soda
2T Dawn Dish Soap
1 Gal of water

1/2 C for regular wash
3/4 C for large wash

                                             OR

3/4 C of each
1 Gal of Water

1/8 C for regular wash
1/4C for large wash

I heat about 1/3 of the water on the stove, add the first three ingredients and stir til dissolved.  Let cool, then I add the Dawn.

When completely cooled I put this in a 1 gallon jug and fill the jug slowly w/ cold water.
